EOPS Counseling
EOPS has five (5) counselors that can assist you with the following:
- Academic, Career and Personal Counseling
- Transfer Assistance
- Academic Progress Monitoring
EOPS students must meet with an EOPS counselor two (2) times each semester. One of these appointments must be a 30-minute, scheduled appointment to prepare or update your student educational plan. The second appointment may be a 10-minute, same day meeting.
30 minute appointments
To schedule a 30 minute appointment, contact the EOPS office. Students will need a 30 minute appointment to prepare or update a student educational plan (SEP) To ensure that you get an appointment, please make your 30-minute appointment early in the semester. If necessary, please cancel an appointment ahead of time. If you fail to cancel your appointment, you will not be permitted to make another one. You will have to contact the office for a 10 minute same day meeting.
10 minute appointments
10 minute appointments are for quick questions. If you need a new student educational plan (SEP) or need help with completing a form, please schedule a 30 minute appointment. The 10 minute appointments are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. During peak times, they do go quickly. Students may schedule 10 minute appointments in advance. Also, if there is space available, students may schedule a 10 minute appointment up to one hour prior to the meeting time.
