Student Worker Job Positions

The Office of Student Life is looking for energetic, helpful, and assertive student workers.

Requirements:

• Must be enrolled in at least 12 units at LAVC for Spring 2024. 

• Must have completed at least one semester at LAVC with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0.

• If you have an active accommodation with Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD), submit the accommodation with your application if enrolled in less than 12 units. 

We are currently hiring for one position: STUDENT WORKER

Student Worker (APPLICATION CLOSED) 

Students interested in clerical work which consists of but is not limited to assisting the Administrative Assistant and the Associated Student Union, may apply to be Student Workers. Student Workers will assist at the front desk, answer phones, assist students, make copies, and other duties pertaining to office needs. 

Hours:
• REQUIRED: Staff meetings TBD
• 12-15 hours per week. Monday-Thursday: 8am-7:30pm, Friday: 8am -1pm

Student Ambassador 

Students interested in this position must enjoy public speaking and have good communication skills. Student Ambassadors are the face of the college and are asked to participate in various events and activities as well as participate in campus committees. 

Hours:
• REQUIRED: Staff meetings (Fridays Twice a Month)
• 8-15 hours per week. Monday-Thursday: 8am-4:30pm, Friday: 8am -1pm
• Vary depending on campus events.
