Your Vote, Your Voice: Choose Your LACCD Student Trustee!

 

The Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) is gearing up for its 2024-2025 Student Trustee election, and this is your chance to play a crucial role in selecting the leader who will represent you and your fellow students! From July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, this individual will serve as the voice of the student body, advocating for your needs and interests at the highest levels of the district.

Meet the Student Trustee Candidates

The Student Trustee is seated with members of the Board and is recognized as a full member at meetings. The Student Trustee has an advisory vote, and may make and second motions at the discretion of the Board. The Student Trustee also serves as the Chair of the District-wide Student Affairs Committee (SAC) which is composed of elected ASO/ASU presidents from the nine campuses.

The term of office is from June 1, 2024 to May 31, 2025. For further information on the role of the Student Trustee and the election process, please refer to LACCD Board Policies 2015 and 2105.
