Welcome to all LAVC Students:

We are Valley Community Healthcare – the operators of your on campus Student Health Center.

With the current closure of the Student Health Center due to COVID 19, we want you to know about other ways to access both mental health and medical care.

We know this is a difficult time for everyone. But please know that you are not alone during the COVID19 crisis.

The LA Valley College Student Health Center is available to you 5 days a week from 8:30-5:00pm  via telephone.

Therapists and Medical professionals are available for phone sessions if you are finding yourself depressed, worried, or anxious or if you have a Medical need.

Please call Valley Community Healthcare for further information at (818)763-8836 option 4 or to speak with a Case Manager at ext. 1455. Tell us that you are an LAVC enrolled student.

1. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

2. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.

3. Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Stay at least  6 feet apart.  

4. Use a face covering when you are out in public.
