The GED test is for adults who do not have a high school diploma. Those who pass the test receive a California High School Equivalency Certificate. The GED® test is made up of 4 subjects, broken into separate exams. You don’t have to take all 4 tests at once - you can space them out and go at your own pace.

CCD will be offering GED testing district wide. At LAVC, GED is offered through the CalWORKs program. Test takers at LAVC must be 18 years or older, California resident with valid government identification, and not currently enrolled in High School. Cost of official test is $35 per subject Registration is conducted online through https://ged.com/
