COUNSELING DEPARTMENT UPDATES:

Los Angeles Valley College Counseling Department is here to help!  Due to COVID-19,  we are currently closed for in-person services. We have transitioned to remote services via Cranium Cafe. To use Cranium Cafe, be sure to use the latest Google Chrome or Firefox browser with a laptop, desktop or phone (see details below for technical requirements*).  

Counselors are available to assist you through Live Chat and/or scheduled online/phone appointments.   

  • To speak with a counselor through Live Chat for brief, general questions simply visit the Counseling Online Help Desk  during regular business hours and click on the Live Chat button.

  • To speak with a specific counselor through Live Chat, find their ConexEd card in the Student Support Directory under Counseling Online Help Desk and click on the counselor's LIVE CHAT button during their scheduled hours.

  • Have a headset with microphone ready - your cell phone headset will work great

      For Android and Window Devices:

For iOS- Apple Device:

  • Download ConexED App from the app store*

*App provides limited access.  You will be able to join a video meeting, but not share your screen or use other functions.
