COUNSELING DEPARTMENT UPDATES:

Los Angeles Valley College Counseling Department is here to help!  In order to support the global effort to stave off the spread of COVID-19,  we are currently closed for in person services. We have transitioned to remote services. 

Counseling Department is available to assist you via email or live chat/video chat.  Please be sure to use the latest Google Chrome or Firefox browser with a laptop, desktop or phone (see details below for technical requirements*). 

You may speak with a counselor through:

  • Live Chat or Video Chat:  Simply visit the Counseling Online Help Desk  during regular business hours to chat with an online counselor for brief, general questions

  • E-Mail  a counselor at lavc-counselor@laccd.edu We ask for your patience as we are working hard to serve all students. Please allow  at least 48 hours for a response.

*Technical Requirements for Live Chat via Cranium Cafe

  • Have a headset with microphone ready - your cell phone headset will work great

      For Android and Window Devices:

For iOS- Apple Device:

  • Download ConexED App from the app store*

*App provides limited access.  You will be able to join a video meeting, but not share your screen or use other functions.
