What is Cranium Cafe?

Cranium Cafe is a product of ConexED and the platform is a meeting and collaboration tool designed specifically for student support. Once inside Cranium Cafe, both students and the support team can utilize a variety of assets to enhance the student experience remotely. Within Cranium Cafe, students can engage with staff members through the following avenues:

  1. Live Chat - instantly chat with someone who is available
  2. Enter a Lobby - wait in line to speak to a representative
  3. Schedule an Appointment - make a future appointment where you can meet via telephone or video chat

How do I log onto Cranium Café?

Follow these steps to log into Cranium Café:

Step 1:  Find the department lobby that you wish to enter (for example, https://laccd.craniumcafe.com/group/admissions-/lobby)

Step 2:  Agree to the Informed Consent Statement

Step 3:  Use the LACCD Login Icon (image on left hand side) and then click "Authorize"

  • If you are a current student, select the LACCD logo for "Current Students, Returning Students, Staff and Faculty".

  • If you do not have an active Canvas account (prospective students), you can request a Cranium account using "Guest Registration." You will need to register for a quick temporary account.

Step 4:  Select reason for the visit

Step 5:  Join lobby and an agent will be with you soon!
