UC Riverside Representative Visit

LAUSD Region North is hosting THE San Fernando Valley College Fair (previously known as College Fest) at Pierce College.

Meet college representatives from the CSU, UC, HBCU, private universities and Community colleges at LAUSD Region North’s THE San Fernando Valley College Fair. There will be workshops for students and their families on Financial Aid, Support for 2-year and 4-year College Admissions, CSU/UC/Common Apps, and Get Career Ready with Community College.

LAVC Welcome Center is Here to Help

Find answers to your general questions and get help registering at the Welcome Center. It’s open Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-7 p.m. & Friday, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. (except on holidays).


Fall Parking Permits Are Now Required

Effective Monday, September 9, 2024, student parking permits are required to park in student parking stalls on campus during the Fall semester.

If you need a student parking permit, either buy your $20 Fall 2024 Parking Permit in-person from the Business Office or buy online in the Student Portal and pick up in the Business Office.  The other option is to purchase $2 daily parking permits from parking pay stations in campus parking lots (cash only; selected pay stations accept cash and credit card).

Employee permits are required at all times in parking stalls marked for staff or reserved. Vehicle parked without a valid permit will be cited.

Join us at U.S. Constitution Day for an afternoon of engaging activities including art-inspired painting, a lively round of Jeopardy, and delicious food for ASO paid members.

Artist Reception for "Carriers", a solo exhibition by Alexandria Douziech

Wednesday, September 18 from 12-2 p.m. in the Art Gallery

The LAVC Art Gallery invites you to reception with artist Alexandria Douziech. Her new solo exhibition "Carriers" is a sculpture and video installation that pays tribute to the overlooked women, who constitute nearly half of the global agricultural workforce.

ASU Movie Night: Inside Out 2

Thursday, September 19 from 7:30-9 p.m. in the North Mall Lawn

ASU Movie Night is back with a special outdoor screening of Inside Out 2! Bring your family, a cozy blanket, and enjoy this heartwarming film with friends. Also, ASO paid members get free snacks!

An Educated Voter is a Smart Voter

Monday, September 23 from 1-2:30 p.m. in the Skybox Conference Room

Join us for an enlightening An Educated Voter is a Smart Voter presentation by a representative from Pueblo y Salud, focusing on the crucial importance of being an informed voter as we approach the 2024 General Election. Complimentary food for ASU paid members.

Decoding the Ballot

Wednesday, October 23 from 1-2:30 p.m. in the Skybox Conference Room

Join us for Decoding the Ballot discussion with a representative from the League of Women Voters - Los Angeles. They will give a comprehensive overview of the pros and cons of each ballot measure and proposition on the California ballot.
