LA County Vote Center

Early Voting: Monday, November 4 from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. &
Election Day: Tuesday, November 5 from 7 a.m.-8 p.m.

LA Valley College is a multi-day Voting Center and Mail-In Vote Ballot Box location for the 2024 General Election. The 11-day vote center on campus is open to the public from October 26 - November 5, 2024. There is also a Mail-In Ballot Drop Box in Parking Lot G.


Opening Reception with Artists for "And, This Too..." Exhibition

Tuesday, November 5 from 12-2 p.m.

Join the LAVC Art Gallery for a reception with artists Miguel Rodriguez, Ben Jackel, Dirk Hagner for its latest "And, This Too…" exhibition. This exhibit features works in clay, print media, and mix media that ignite critical conversations about societal forces that shape our collective identities and experiences. The exhibition runs from November 4 - December 6, 2024.

These interactive sessions will help you prepare for test and exams and earn higher grades. If you are talking Math 227, this “Quick Review Chapter 7, 8 & 9 Exam 3 Review” workshop is tailored to the content being taught by your professor. If you are enrolled in Math 259 or Math 260 this semester, come to the “Right Triangle Trigonometry, The Law of Sines, The Law of Cosines and Area”.

The Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) is conducting its biennial Fall 2024 Student Survey. Check your LACCD email for an invitation to the survey. Students who completes the survey will be entered in drawing every 2 weeks for $50 awards. The survey closes on Sunday, December 9. We greatly appreciate your feedback, which helps us improve!

Veterans Day

Monday, November 11

Campus is closed November 11 to observe the Veterans Day holiday. Classes will resume and college offices and services will reopen on Tuesday, November 12.

Winter & Spring 2025 - Open Enrollment Begins

Monday, November 11

Open Enrollment & Group 5 Registration (continuing, new and returning K-12 students: K-12 students who applied after the cutoff date to assign priority registration appointments) for the Winter 2025 & Spring 2025 terms. Log into the Student Portal to enroll online. 

Spring 2025 Enrollment Day

Tuesday, November 12 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Student Services Plaza & Counseling Office

Get help and enroll at our In-Person Enrollment Day! See admissions, counseling and financial aid and get enrolled for Spring 2025!

UCLA Transfer Talk

Friday, November 15 from 3-4 p.m. on Zoom

Join Tau Alpha Epsilon Honor's Society, Hillel, Women's Empowerment, and SACNAS got an online UCLA Transfer Talk. Transfer representatives from UCLA will present to students and offer recommendations for transfer applications. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.

Women's Basketball vs. San Diego City College

Saturday, November 16 at 1 p.m. in the South Gym

The LAVC Women's Basketball team will play a pre-season home game against San Diego City College. Free admission.

ASU Holodomor Remembrance Day

Monday, November 18, 2024 | 1-2:30 p.m. in the Student Union Plaza

Join us to honor the millions of Ukrainians who perished during the Holodomor, the man-made famine of 1932-1933. ASU Holodomor Remembrance Day will feature a guest speaker, and a moment of silence to remember the victims & raise awareness of this tragic chapter in history.
