The Office of Financial Aid at Los Angeles Valley College is currently closed to walk in visitors or one on one meetings unless arrangements can be made to meet online. Direct Loan Applications for 2019-2020 are still available. You can print from here: DirectLoanRequestForm  or stop by the office if it is more convenient.  Please read carefully thru the packet as missing information can delay the processing of your loan request. 

Los Angeles Valley College's school code for filing a FAFSA is 001228. You can access the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at any time just click here> FAFSA .  Along with filing a FAFSA, be sure to access the SIS system. ( *Login to to:

What Is Financial Aid?

Financial aid is meant to supplement your existing income/financial resources and should not be used as your sole means of income to support other non-educational related expenses.

In order to receive aid, you must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
