The Wedding Singer: The Musical Comedy

The LAVC Theater & Dance Department presents its spring production of The Wedding Singer, a Tony Award-nominated musical with music by Matthew Sklar, lyrics by Chad Beguelin, and a book by Beguelin and Tim Herlihy.

Based on the hit 1998 film of the same name, The Wedding Singer (the musical) is a feel-good, hilarious, and charming musical following the life of Robbie Hart. A wannabe rock star, making ends meet as a wedding singer in 1985 New Jersey, Robbie changes his tune in a hurry when he is left at the altar by his own fiancée, but is helped on the way in the form of a waitress who works his wedding gigs.
