2025 California AI Cybersecurity Workforce Development and Education Summit

The California Cybersecurity Task Force, Workforce Development and Education Subcommittee, Los Angeles Valley College (LAVC), and the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) cordially invite all students, faculty, staff and the public to the 2025 California AI Cybersecurity Workforce Development and Education Summit.
Summit discussion topics include best practices for preparing students to work in IT cybersecurity-AI positions. Presentations from distinguished speakers will focus on the following subjects: Public and private sector employer perspectives, cybersecurity awareness and training, K-12 and Higher Education programs & partnerships, IT-Cyber apprenticeships, and internships. A Panel on Diversity and Inclusion in the field, numerous lunch sessions in key areas for networking and collaboration opportunities, and an AI-Cybersecurity IT Career Fair to learn more about employment and work-based learning opportunities.
This event is co-sponsored by the Los Angeles Regional Consortium (LARC), LAVC Career Technical Education (CTE), and LAVC Computer Science Information Systems (CSIS) Department.
