Zoom Meditations: Centering and Grounding

Join the Student Health Center for Zoom Meditations. This week's topic is Centering and Grounding.
Grounding is an effective way to calm anxiety during a panic attack. In the practice of grounding and centering, you identify objects around you to help your brain recognize where you are. This creates a sense of comfort because you know where you're at and you feel more in control of the situation. (The Transformation Center). Learn to focus thoughts away from negative feelings or chaotic moments in life.
