Free Wednesday Concert: Music for Storytelling - Music and Characterization

The LAVC Music Department proudly presents a Free Wednesday Concert on the "Music for Storytelling - Music and Characterization" on February 22, 2023 at 2:30 PM in Music 106.

Listen to a concert of instrumental music from films, operas, and symphonies that help to define the characters portrayed in those larger works, by professional musicians from the Los Angeles area: Nick Casillas, Saxophone; Mitsuko Morikawa, piano; Ahmet Turkmenoglu, Bass; Jamie Strowhiro, Vibraphone.

Our secondary theme of “Entartete Musik” includes a performance of music by George Gershwin.
