The Los Angeles Valley College Reading Center houses the literacy and academic skills laboratory and classrooms for the Department of Psychology's Developmental Communications (Reading) program.

We are located on the second floor of the Library and Academic Resource Center. The Reading Center includes the Reading Lab in LARC 220, classrooms in LARC 215 and 224, and faculty offices in LARC 225.

Developmental Communications 22A-E are modular, multimedia programs in phonics and spelling, vocabulary, reading skills, reading fluency and speed, and study skills. Students may enroll sequentially in up to three units per semester. In each program, students work at their own time and pace.
