Join Dr. Erin Leonard, Project Staff Scientist at Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, for a lecture about the upcoming Europa Clipper Mission.

NASA will soon launch an unmanned spacecraft to map Europa, a moon of Jupiter, as a prelude to future exploration of this natural satellite. Dr. Leonard's presentation will cover the goals of this ambitious project and how the Europa Clipper probe, currently being built, will conduct its observations. It will include a question-and-answer segment at the end of her talk.

This online lecture is sponsored by the LAVC Earth Science Department and LAVC Astronomy Group, and is open to students and the community.
