Though we may be social-distancing during this time of COVID, humanity has continued to communicate, compose, and create. The LAVC Humanities and Communication Career and Academic Pathway invites you to share your writingwith students, faculty, and staff in the Spring 2021 Student Writing Conference: “Finding Our Humanity in the Time of Pandemic.” Students in English, ESL, Humanities, Art History, History, Foreign Language, Philosophy, and Communications courses at LAVC will present their work with fellow scholars. Student writing may directly address issues related to COVID; however, all topics will be accepted. We are looking for the following genres of writing: ❖Critical/Argumentative Essays❖Research Essays❖Narrative Essays❖Short Stories❖Poetry


Ticket Cost: Free

Parking permits are required at all times. Daily Parking permits for student parking spots can be purchased at an LAVC parking pay station. View campus map
