Biotech Bridge Training Academy Information Session

The LAVC Workforce Training Office is offering an Biotech Bridge Training Academy that trains participants for entry-level Biomanufacturing Technician I jobs. Entry-level biomanufacturing technicians clean and sanitize equipment that provides life-saving pharmaceuticals for patients.

The 6-week training is no cost to participants who meet the eligibility requirements, and​ teaches current good manufacturing practices, workplace science, and skills to find and keep a good job. The next BioTech Bridge Training Academy starts on September 10, 2018.

Anyone interested in the BioTech Bridge Training Academy should attend one of the following information sessions to find out more: 

  • Wednesday, July 25 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. in Administration & Career Advancement (ACA) 2503

  • Wednesday, August 1 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. in Administration & Career Advancement (ACA) 2503

Free parking is available for participants on the fourth floor of the Parking Structure on Ethel Avenue.
