LAVC Vocational Education invites you to an Entertainment Career Summit. Come get inside knowledge on how to stand out when applying for the most competitive internships and jobs for which our panelists hire. In a business where relationships are the name of the game, you will get in person access to some of the major players in the entertainment business.

Date & Time: Tuesday, April 30 from 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.

This Entertainment Career Summit consists of three panels of leading professionals across the entertainment industry.

Panel #1: Meet Internship & Fellowship Decision Makers (9:00am-11:00am)

  • Emmys - Television Academy Foundation Internship Directors
  • Oscars - Academy Gold Rising Star Internship Directors
  • Jay Francis - Vice President, Disney Animation

Panel #2: How to Solidify a Job in Fashion, Music, Live Event Projection & Entertainment Law (11:00am-12:00am)

  • Vanda Lee Jones - Music producer for artists such as Meg Thee Stallion
  • Dana Kenerson - Talent Flow Director for the Oscars, Emmys, Grammys, Tonys, American Music Awards
  • Andre Michael Williams - Fashion Executive at Purple Brand Clothing
  • Michael Green - Entertainment Attorney
  • Kevin Stuckey - Public Relations Executive, most recently at Netflix on Oscar nominated project Rustin

Panel #3: How to Solidify a Job as a Writer, Actor, Director & Creative Executive (12:00pm-1:00pm)

  • Phil Kobylanski - President of Valhalla Entertainment (The Walking Dead franchise)
  • Ivy Isenberg - Ivy Isenberg Casting
  • Tommy Hobson - Actor, Series Regular on Nickelodeon's That Girl Lay Lay
  • Tiffany Mayberry - Yahoo, Head of DEI, most recently at Endeavor Content
