LAVC Professional Development partners with our grant-based programs to offer the Teaching Innovations Academy, an intensive training for faculty to better engage students with effective research-based practices. This academy began in 2015 with Title V Cooperative: Engaging for Student Success and continues as a Summer/Fall program with support from the Proyecto Adelante - Connect, Continue, Complete (PAC3) and Caminos Al Triunfo: Dual Enrollment to Career (Triunfo) programs and is institutionalized as an “Express" self-paced online training.
