Spring Enrollment Going on Now!

Spring Enrollment at Los Angeles Valley Colleges begins on November 22. Students are encouraged to check the mycollege.laccd.edu Student Portal for their registration date. Read the Spring 2022 Limitation of Enrollment.

Spring classes start on February 7, 2022. Please check our Spring 2022 Schedule of Classes to peruse our variety of class options, including: 

  • In-Person: Face-to-face on-campus class with an instructor 
  • Online Synchronous: Interacting online with instructor at set times 
  • Online Asynchronous: Fully online, independent work 
  • Hybrid: Face-to-face on-campus class with an online component

Reminder on Spring 2022 Limitation of Enrollment

If you are planning to enroll and attend in-person or hybrid classes on campus during the Spring 2022 semester, you must show proof of vaccination or have an approved exemption for religious or medical reasons.

Want to get vaccinated? Get a $150 Bookstore Gift Card with your on-campus dose at our on-campus Vaccination Clinic on Tuesday, November 30 in 8 a.m.-4 p.m. in Parking Lot A.

Biocept is offering baseline and weekly COVID-19 testing at LA Valley College for students and employees (by appointment only) on Mondays and Tuesdays in Engineering 100. Schedule your appointment using your private Cleared4 account link that was send to your student email. For other testing locations/dates, check the Districtwide COVID Testing schedule. Hanukkah Educational Workshop

Monday, November 22 at 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

The Associated Student Union (ASU) invites you to join its Hanukkah educational event.  Build your own Menorah from scratch, enjoy fresh jelly doughnuts, pizza and refreshments. A guest speaker will be present to speak about the significance of Hanukkah.


Thanksgiving Break

Thursday-Sunday, November 25-28

The college is closed for Thanksgiving Break. Campus offices and services will reopen, and classes will resume on Monday, November 29.

The LAVC SAFE App can has two ways to help you get safely to your vehicle or destination. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to use the App to request a safety escort with the Campus Sheriff to your vehicle on campus, or use the "Friend Walk" to share your location in real time to a friend to virtually walk to your destination. LAVC Hiring Cadet Student Workers

Administrative Services is currently hiring cadet student workers in the LAVC Sheriff Station. Start your career with us! Job duties include patrol, dispatching, and parking enforcement. LAVC is offering on-campus COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics to allow students, employees and the public to get their vaccine dose(s) and booster. No appointment needed; all three vaccines options are available. Plus, LAVC students and employees who get vaccinated at this event will receive a $150 gift card to the LAVC Bookstore.
