Valley Weekly - August 31-September 6, 2020

A Message from the President

Hello Monarchs,

Welcome to the first day of the Fall Semester at Los Angeles to Valley College!

While we would prefer for everyone to be together in-person, we remain united in this virtual environment. These are challenging times, but know that your perseverance and hard work will help you reach your educational goals. We are here to support you!

I am pleased to announce that this is the inaugural issue of our LAVC Weekly student e-newsletter. It will be emailed to you every Monday morning and highlights news, events and programs at Valley College that week. This issue highlights some of the amazing campus services and programs that are here to support you online and remotely.

Also, I would like to invite you to our Student Town Hall today at 1 p.m. on YouTube Live featuring Alex Ojeda and Jessica Ruiz of the NextUp/Guardian Scholars foster youth program. Go to:

Have a great semester, Monarchs!
