Welcome to the Valley College Accelerated Program! My name is Neil Roberts, and I’m the counselor for VCAP. For those of you thinking about becoming involved, I’m one of your initial contacts, usually after you’ve taken placement exams for English and Math levels. If you are a continuing or returning VCAP student, I’m a source of information, guidance, and support. Evening and Weekend appointments are available as follows:

“Drop-in” for questions and short consultations during posted hours (see below).

Regular scheduled appointments for transcript evaluation, educational planning, career counseling, and to discuss other academic or personal issues.

I’m very interested in assisting students to determine and successfully achieve their goals, both educationally and personally. I was a reentry adult student myself in the 1980’s, and began working at Valley College after age 40.
