Drop-in Counseling Only

During Fall 2018 Registration

From Monday, August 13– Friday, September 7, during our highest demand period, students may meet with a counselor during our Registration Drop-in hours for brief (10 – 15 minutes) assistance with Fall registration and to answer quick questions, or to clear prerequisites.

Drop-in counseling is available on a first-come, first-served basis by visiting the Counseling Department in the Student Services Annex during the days and hours listed below and signing in at our reception desk.  Please note, no appointment is necessary, however, at times, there may be a long wait to see a counselor, particularly in the evenings.

Mondays:                              8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.; and  4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Tuesdays – Thursdays:       8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Fridays                                   8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

A limited number of appointments have been set aside for students with the following needs only:

  • Veterans Student Educational Plan
  • Financial Aid Extension Appeal
  • Nursing Program Transcripts Evaluation
  • International (F-1 Visa) Students

If you are in one of the above groups, please call (818) 947-2474 to request an appointment.

Regular 30-minute counseling  will resume on Monday, September 10th. The appointment scheduling system will reopen beginning Tuesday, September 4th, at 8:00 a.m.
