Yes. An in-person graduation ceremony will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, 9:00AM at Monarch Stadium.

Yes. You must submit a Graduation Petition by March 8, 2024. If eligible, your name will be included in the list of graduates.

Please meet with a counselor to complete a Graduation Petition by March 8, 2024. More information can be found at this link.

Eligible students will receive several emails from the Los Angeles Valley College with details. The deadline to reserve your seat and to request guest tickets is on May 10, 2024. It is suggested that you do not opt-out of emails from LA Valley College to ensure you do not miss the commencement emails. For questions you can call the Office of Student Life at (818) 778-5516. 

To purchase a cap and gown, please visit or contact the LAVC Bookstore at (818) 947-2313 in Spring 2024.

Yes, ASL interpreters will be present at the ceremony.

The Graduation Office will verify that you have completed all the requirements for your degree. Printed diplomas are mailed by October.

Please make sure that your address is updated on the Student Information System. Print out a change of address form on the LAVC Admissions website (the form is also available in the office), and bring it to the Admissions office.
