The LAVC Infant Toddler Special Needs Project is a two-year grant program designed to enhance the skills, knowledge and expertise of 500 incumbent workers and to develop a pipeline of 35 new entrants to the infant and toddler workforce. This project addresses both the critical shortage of well-trained early childhood professionals, as well as new entrants, to have specialized high quality training caring for infants and toddlers with special physical, behavioral or emotional needs.
