Temporary Locations for Services Provided by LAVC Administrative Services

As of July 3, employees need to turn in their conference, travel expense, and mileage claim forms to and pick up checks go to the Business Office, order business cards, request copy paper and pick up keys from Staff Services/Reprographics, and request for changes to the online LAVC phone/email directory to the campus Webmaster.

Temporary Locations for Services Provided by LAVC Administrative Services

The LAVC Administrative Services Office has announced that due to a recent retirement and departmental changes, there are new temporary locations for the services it provides to administrators, faculty, and staff. 

The LAVC Administrative Services Office provides a variety of services to college employees and departments, including processing conference attendance, travel and mileage claims, accepting requests for a network account, new business cards, and copy paper delivery, updating to the online college directory, and more.

As of July 3, 2017, the services handled by the LAVC Administrative Services Office will be temporarily relocated to the following locations until further notice.

The LAVC Business Office will handle the following services:

  • All the following request forms should be submitted to the Business Office
    • Conference attendance requests and travel expense claims
    • Safety shoe reimbursement forms
    • Mileage claims
    • SFP Food Certification and Warrant Requests
    • Student travel advance requests
    • Revolving Fund reimbursements
       
  • The following should be picked up in the Business Office
    • Checks
      • If an employee has a check, he/she will be sent an email notifying him/her when the check is ready to be picked up in the Business Office.
      • NOTE: Please bring a photo ID if you will be picking up a check. Checks can be picked up by the payee only.
         
  • The Business Office's hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, from 8:00 a.m.-3:45 p.m., and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m.-6:15 p.m.

The LAVC Staff Services Office (also known as Reprographic Services) for the following services: 

  • The following request forms are to be submitted/picked up in Staff Services/Reprographics:
    • Business Card requests
    • Requests for copy paper (to be delivered at the requested location)
    • Requests for letterhead, and envelopes (for departments that fall under Administrative Services division only).
      • NOTE: Departments under the division of Academic Affairs should request their letterhead/envelopes through the office of Academic Affairs. Departments under the Student Services division should contact the Office of the VP of Student Services for these requests.
    • Network Account Requests
       
  • The following are to be picked up from Staff Services/Reprographics:
    • Keys
      • Staff Services/Reprographics will send out an email to the employee when requested keys are ready for pick up.
      • NOTE: Keys should still continue to be requested through the LACCD Portal on an on-campus computer.
         
  • The Staff Services (Reprographics) office hours are Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m.-7:25 p.m. and Friday, 7 a.m.-3:25 p.m.

The LAVC Information Technology Office will handle the following services: 

  • Any requests for changes/updates to the online directory should be sent to Claudette Bentley in the IT Department at bentlecb@lavc.edu
