March 15, 2020--All class instruction suspended from March 16-21, and Spring Break moved to March 23-29. No instruction or in-person student support services will be available for the next two weeks. Student Health Center remains open next week.

Urgent Update Regarding Classes and Student Services

Dear Student,

I want to provide you with an update on Los Angeles Community College District’s plan for moving to online instruction at Los Angeles Valley College and the other college campuses.

Effectively immediately:

  • All classes will be suspended from instruction starting this Monday, March 16 through Saturday, March 21.
  • Spring break will move to March 23-29; originally scheduled from April 6-10
  • No instruction or in-person student support services will be available for the next two weeks. Instruction will resume on Monday March 30.
  • Essential safety and health services, such as the student health center, will still provide services next week.

The college will use this time to convert as many courses and student services as possible to remote delivery.  Also, during this time, we will thoroughly sanitize our facilities.

We apologize for this disruption, but your health and safety is our primary concern at this time of emergency.

Should you have questions or concerns, please contact the college at: (818) 947-7218.

Sincerely,

Barry Gribbons
President
Los Angeles Valley College
