LAVC's Community Services Center received a Silver Award for a Public Project at the San Fernando Valley Business Journal's San Fernando Valley Commercial Real Estate Awards ceremony on March 15 in Burbank, California. 

LAVC's Community Services Center Wins a SFV Commercial Real Estate Award

The San Fernando Valley Business Journal (SFVBJ) honored the Community Services Center at Los Angeles Valley College (LAVC) with a Silver Award for a Public Construction Project at the San Fernando Valley Commercial Real Estate Awards ceremony on March 15 in Burbank, California. 

The award was presented to the Community Services Center's developer (Valley College/BuildLACCD), architect (QDG Architecture) and general contractor (Charles Pankow Builders, Ltd.). Dr. Erika Endrijonas, LAVC President, was on hand to accept the award along with Rick Shutter from Charles Pankow Builders, Ltd. and Kevin Tyrell of QDG Architecture. 

The San Fernando Valley Business Journal (SFVBJ) honors the biggest, best and most notable commercial real estate projects of 2015 in the San Fernando Valley. It presented awards for the best medical and healthcare, mixed-use, multi-family, office, public, redevelopment, retail, tenant improvement, and community revitalization construction projects. In addition, it recognized the most successful broker/broker teams in the market. All the winners will be recognized in March 21 issue of the San Fernando Valley Business Journal.
