A valid parking permit is required in student lots as of June 19; a valid staff parking permit is always required in staff spots. Stop by the Business Office to buy a Summer 2017 parking permit, or buy your daily parking permit from a parking pay station.

Don't Get a Ticket! Parking Permit Now Required to Park on Campus

The LAVC Sheriff's Office reminds all LAVC students, faculty, staff and guests that parking permits are required in all campus lots as of Monday, June 19. 

Starting June 19, vehicles need to properly display a valid parking permit in the approved parking area. Vehicles parked in student lots will need to properly display a valid Summer 2017 parking permit or valid daily parking permit; parking permits are required at all times in all faculty/staff parking areas. 

Vehicles without the a properly displayed valid parking permit, or are parked illegally will be issued a citation. In addition, vehicles parked in a staff parking stall without a staff parking permit will be ticketed.

There was a parking permit grace period for Summer Session 1 from June 12-16, where vehicles parked legally in a student parking stall during that grace period were not cited.

Students can purchase a Summer 2017 Parking Permit from the LAVC Business Office, which is located in Student Union 143. Students and guest can choose to purchase daily permits from campus parking pay stations in Lot A, B, D, E, G, and the Parking Structure.
