LAVC Student Union and Community Services Center Wins AIA-SFV Awards

Congrats to LAVC's Community Services Center on being awarded a AIA SFV Citation Award, and to LAVC's Student Union (Monarch Center construction project) on its AIA SFV Merit Award. This is the second award for the Community Services Center and the fourth award for the Student Union.

LAVC Student Union and Community Services Center Wins AIA-SFV Awards

The Community Services Center and the Student Union (Monarch Center construction project) at Los Angeles Valley College were both honored by the American Institute of Architects, San Fernando Valley Chapter (AIA SFV) at its 30th Annual Installation & Design Awards Banquet on February 4 in Woodland Hills, California. 

The 2016 AIA SFV Design Citation Award for the LAVC Community Services Center was presented to the project's architect, QDG Architecture, and LAVC President Dr. Erika Endrijonas.

The Student Union's 2016 AIA SFV Design Merit Award was accepted by the project architect, LPA, Inc., and LAVC President Dr. Erika Endrijonas.

The San Fernando Valley Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA SFV) annually honors outstanding design projects by AIA SFV members and other chapter members who prepared projects within the San Fernando Valley. Information on all the 2016 AIA SFV Design Award winners will be posted on the AIA SFV Web site.
