Cooking with Instant pot: HOLIDAY

Now that you have unboxed your Instant Pot, why not use it to make the holidays a lot more enjoyable. This class will add to the Instant Pot Basics class and will focus on making holiday dishes just in time for Thanksgiving and New Year. Everything but the turkey!  Instant Pot The Basics is a prerequisite for this class unless you have a basic understanding of how to use the Instant Pot.

commercial acting for teens

for teens 13 -17 years

This is the perfect class to explore all the possibilities that a career in acting involves. All the teen actors will be up and acting on camera each week in this two day seminar. The class is taught by Hal Sweesy, in a professional casting studio where students will learn acting techniques as well as learning how to get into the industry. Information about headshots, agents and unions will be covered, as well as rules and regulations specific to the young actor.

tennis lessons for teens

for 10 - 14 years

Learn tennis or improve your current game with our long-term teaching pro, Ray Finks.  Ray is a member of the National Tennis Academy Professional Tennis Registry. He has played competitive and professional tennis for over 10 years. He has won several local tournaments.

FEATURED CLASS FOR FALL

DIA DE LOS MUERTOS SKELATON ART FIGURINES

Recycled wire and old paper will transform into skeleton folk art fi gures. Fashioning a standing fi gure, we will then create clothing with draped paper mache. The final project will be painted by students at home. This is a hands-on class and will require attendance each week, some homework may be needed.  Please bring to fi rst class:
• 1 Wire coat hanger
• 1 Brown paper grocery bag
• 1 Lidded plastic food container (for paste)
• 1 empty and clean pizza box to transport the wet paper figures (this may be purchased for $1.00 by calling the Community Services office then delivered to class on the first class session)
