Cooking with Instant pot: the basics

The Instant Pot was one of the most popular items on this year’s Amazon Prime Day with customers buying over 300,000 of this handy kitchen appliance that can replaces nearly a dozen other kitchen appliances. The possibilities are endless with it …but not if it’s left in the box!  This informative class will help students “unbox” their Instant Pot and provide entry level instructions on how to use it, fool-proof recipes, and insider tips from someone who has read the manual and used it almost every day for the past 2 years!

In this 2.5 hour class students will learn simple functionality of the Instant Pot including what all the buttons mean and how to use them to make great dishes; how to make staple recipes including broth, yogurt, vegetables, soup, and eggs; and care instructions to keep it clean, working properly, and safe.  Students should bring their Instant Pot if they have one. Owning an Instant Pot is not necessary to join the class.
